The K&N SO‑7018 is a premium cartridge-style oil filter from K&N’s Select Series, designed for optimal oil flow and superior filtration. Built to meet or exceed OEM requirements, it features high-performance synthetic-blend media for long service intervals and maximum protection. Ideal for use with synthetic, semi-synthetic, and conventional oils in modern high-displacement engines.

Installation Instructions

  1. Remove the oil filter housing cap using the appropriate socket.

  2. Remove and discard the old cartridge and O-ring.

  3. Lightly oil the new O-ring and install it on the housing cap.

  4. Insert the new cartridge into the housing or onto the cap (as applicable).

  5. Reinstall the cap to manufacturer torque spec.

  6. Refill oil, start engine, and check for leaks.
